On Wednesday, July 27, at 10:30 a.m., head to the Henrico Theatre for a free Barefoot Puppet Theatre performance of “Dreamtime.” . The puppet show is inspired by Aboriginal folktales, so expect to see all manner of Australian creatures–emus, crocodiles, frogs & more.
A word of warning with all puppet shows: My girls adore them. However, once they see what can be done on stage with “found” objects, they tend to go on a treasure hunt in our home & repurpose anything that catches their eye. That’s great for creativity, not so much when they borrow something I still need to use…
