As part of Dogwood Dell’s Festival of the Arts 2011 series, you’ve got a few options for free performances this week:
Dogwood Dell:
- Friday, August 5, 11:00 p.m.: Life Stage (theater) will perform on the Ha’Penny stage.
- Free performances of Hairspray, the musical, at 8:30 p.m. on August 5-6, 2011.
- Sunday, August 7, 7:00 p.m.: Robbin Thompson Band (folk, Americana) will perform on the main stage.
We make it out to a couple of these performances each season. I think we’re going to try for one of the dance or theatre nights this summer.
Dogwood Dell is located in Byrd Park (map of free parking lot locations). Pine Camp Arts Center is located at 4901 Old Brook Rd., Richmond.
