This looks like an interesting production:
From April 13-May 20, 2012, the world premiere of Scorched Earth will be at Barksdale Theatre at Willow Lawn. Scorched Earth is best-selling author David L. Robbins’ stage adaptation of his part-suspense, part-legal thriller novel. Per the summary: “A rural Virginia community is torn apart when the tiny body of a stillborn, mixed-race baby is exhumed from the graveyard, and the neighboring church is burned to the ground.”
Scorched Earth contains some profanity, and the official recommendation is for those age 14+.
