I’d
love to make it out to this on Thursday night:
On May 24, 2012, The Poe Museum will host its May Unhappy Hour: ‘Berenice,’, a tale of ‘obsession and dentistry.’
From 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., there’ll be live music by Rattlemouth, performances of the tale by Haunts of Richmond at 7:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m., plus a brief talk about 19th-century dentistry at 7:45 p.m.
The family-friendly event is free (though there is a suggested donation of $5), and there’ll be free food plus a cash bar for those inclined.
Unhappy Hour takes place rain or shine; the garden will be tented to keep you dry.
