In the mood for a free movie?
At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, the Byrd Theatre is offering a free screening of Hugo as a “thank you” to Richmond for its support & patronage. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., and there’ll be pre-movie music featuring Bob Gulledge on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
And a reminder for other movies: If you have the 2012 Richmond Entertainment Book, flip to E30 to use a coupon to buy one admission & get one free; the coupon is valid for up to four people & it excludes special engagements. There are additional coupons for The Byrd with the online version of the Entertainment book, and when I bought my 2012 Richmond edition, it automatically granted me access to the online version. Through July 4, 2012, all 2012 Entertainment Books are $9.99 each + $1.99 shipping.
