It’s almost the first Friday of the month, which means it’s time for the First Fridays Art Walk.
During the First Fridays Art Walk, you’ll have a chance to explore almost 40 galleries & cultural venues in Downtown Richmond. Participating venues will be found east of Belvidere Street and west of 8th Street, and north and south in Historic Jackson Ward and Monroe Ward.
FYI–The official hours are 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on July 6, but some of the cultural venues have limited hours, so please check the schedule for each venue’s First Fridays Art Walk hours before you head out so that you make it everywhere you want to go. And even the galleries’ hours vary a bit; some stay open later.
If you can’t find free street parking, you’ll find free parking on a first-come, first-served basis at Centenary United Methodist Church at 4th and East Grace Street, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 8th and East Grace Street. And you can park free at the Jefferson Hotel if you make any purchase at Lemaire restaurant & have your parking validated.
