My dad’s dog watches baseball games on TV, and he will leave the room if you change the station mid-game. I suspect both Diesel & my dad will want to take advantage of Wednesday’s Bark in the Park night. 
But even if you’re not a fan of dogs (or your dog is not a fan of baseball), you’ve got a few extra incentives to watch the Flying Squirrels play this week:
- Monday, August 27, at 7:05 p.m. vs. Harrisburg: There’ll be a pre-game performance by The River City Dogs in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone prior to the game, and it’s Greece with Greek Night, which features a Battle of the Greeks contest. Bonus: this counts as a McDonald’s Monday–if you show a McDonald’s receipt at the Flying Squirrels box office, you can buy one ticket & get one free.
- Tuesday, August 28, at 7:05 p.m. vs. Harrisburg: There’ll be a pre-game performance by the Good Birds in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone prior to the game, and the first 2,500 fans age 15 and older will receive a Dave Machemer garden gnome.
- Wednesday, August 29, at 7:05 p.m. vs. Harrisburg: Dogs are welcome for Bark in the Park night. There’ll be a pre-game performance by The Stray Dog Band in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone prior to the game, and they’ll be selling $1 hot dogs all night.
- Thursday, August 30, at 7:05 p.m. vs. Harrisburg: There’ll be a pre-game performance by Bret John Elvis in the AAA Ultimate Fan Zone prior to the game, and it’s the final fireworks night of the 2012 season.
