Darn, this deal has expired.
Planning to see it? Take advantage of this week’s free Friday night extras while you’re at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts:
- From 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on the third Friday of the month, you can Tango After Work at VMFA’s Best Café.
- And VMFA has weekly Friday Art + Wine events, which run from 5:00 p.m-8:30 p.m. on Fridays. There are free half-hour gallery tours at 7:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.; on August 17, you can take the Freeze-Frame tour. Even better, you can imbibe with half-price drinks at Best Café.
Admission to VMFA’s permanent collection galleries is free, but unless you’re a member of VMFA or active-duty military, you’ll need to buy a ticket to see the Maharaja: The Splendors of India’s Great Kings special exhibition. Tickets are $15 for adults & $12 for youth (7-17), students with ID, seniors 65+, & adult groups of 10+.
