On Saturday, October 20, 2012, the Midlothian Village Day Festival & Craft Fair will take place at Midlothian Middle School from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The festivities begin with a parade down Midlothian Turnpike. The Midlothian Day Parade steps off at 9:00 a.m. at Village Mill Drive and Midlothian Turnpike and concludes at First Citizens Bank at 13101 Midlothian Turnpike.
At the festival, you can shop the Craft Fair or check out on of the performances on stage, including gymnastics, bands, dancers, martial arts, and more. And you can take guided tours of the Midlothian Mines Park, featuring the remains of the Grove Shaft, starting at 11:00 a.m.
Though admission to the Midlothian Village Day Festival & Craft Festival is free, the kids’ games & inflatables will cost you a bit–$0.75 for games, $2/turn on the inflatables, or $5 for an unlimited inflatable ride pass.
Midlothian Middle School is located at 13501 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian.
