Style Weekly got my attention on Twitter last week to make sure I was aware of ForkFly.
I just got a chance to check it out, and now that I have, I’ll be adding the app to my phone.
My favorite aspects: ForkFly features deals for merchants in the RVA. The coupons are free to download (you can access them online or via an iPhone or Android app), and per Style Weekly, all the revenue stays with the merchants.
You’ll find a mix of deals on ForkFly, and each will have its own tiny type. The offers will vary, but today (January 24, 2012), you can get free fried rice with purchase of a Hibachi entree at Kobe, a free deep-conditioning treatment with purchase of any service at IBIS Salon, two tickets for 50% off when you buy two tickets to Mystery Dinner Playhouse, BOGO sandwiches/salads at Sticks Kebob Shop, & more.
FYI–Don’t activate your ForkFly deal until you’re ready to use it. Once you activate it, you’ll have about six hours to redeem it. You can either print the coupon or access it via the mobile app when you’re ready to cash in.
