On Saturday, November 2, 2013, it’s time for Ashland Train Day.
From 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., you can participate in a day of railroad-themed activities. There’ll be miniature train rides, model trains, a locomotive moonbounce, real trains, music, & more. Costumes encouraged–dress up in your bib overalls, bandana and engineer hat if you’ve got them.
Ashland Train Day takes place near the Ashland Library, located at 201 South Railroad Avenue, Ashland.
Parking is limited near N. & S. Railroad Ave. Trolley shuttles are available from the Ashland-Junction Shopping Center (next to Roses), Henry Clay Elementary School and St. Anne’s Church) all day; trolley rides are free.
