Richmond Folk Festival
September 27 – 29, 2024
The Richmond Folk Festival is one of Virginia’s largest events, drawing visitors from all over the country to downtown Richmond’s historic riverfront. The Festival is a FREE three-day event that got its start as the National Council for the Traditional Arts’ National Folk Festival, held in Richmond from 2005-2007. The Richmond Folk Festival features performing groups representing a diverse array of cultural traditions on six stages.
Midlothian Village Day Festival

Midlothian Moms, a local non-profit group, in conjunction with Chesterfield County Parks & Recreation, is hosting the the 41st Annual Midlothian Village Day Festival & Craft Fair. You can learn more about Midlothian Moms on this website at www.midlothianmoms.com. The Midlothian Festival is a community day filled with fun activities for the whole family. There will be crafters, community booths, games, inflatables, entertainment, food vendors, a raffle and more! There is no cost for admission to the Festival; However, there will be food, crafts and activities for purchase.
Rassawek Autumn Festival
October 21 & 22, 2023
This is a non-profit event designed to highlight trade skills and vocational work. We will be partnering with local companies to provide onsite demonstrations of trade work, craftsmanship and insight into a vocational career. The proceeds from this event will go towards Vocational Education which is a learning path that students can take to help merge academic knowledge and technical skills in real-world applications.
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden – Celebrate all that fall has to offer! This two-day event has a festival vibe with live music, food, and adult beverages, plus family-friendly activities. Saturday Live Music! ​
