Dogtown Dance Theatre, located on the south side of Richmond at 109 West 15th Street in the Manchester neighborhood, is a home for performing artists to create and present their work while developing the skills needed to thrive. The organization enlivens Richmond by encouraging expansive creative expression and education across diverse populations offers in-person and virtual classes by supporting a diverse network of performing artists, encouraging diversity in the arts while fostering the Richmond community’s appreciation for art and expression in all of its forms.
You can get in on the dance action by taking a variety of classes with accomplished dancers in a variety of styles from ballet, Salsa, Cardio, Hip Hop, African, Step, Jazz, and Contemporary for a fee. Modern, belly and African Roots classes are offered for FREE at Dogtown Dance Theatre on the weekend to get moving without barriers.
