SPOOKY HAUNTS
Ashland Berry Farm. FREE admission and FREE hayrides. Beginning October 3, 2014, enjoy the all new haunts at Ashland Berry Farm. Booger woods, Morbid Manor, Old Ridge Asylum, and Sinister Sideshow will tantalize and entertain. But remember, don’t come alone!
Edgar Allen Poe Graveyard Tour. October 25 at 6pm. Just $5 or $15 for a family of 4. Among the spirits represented: Edgar’s mother Eliza Poe, George Wythe and his murderous nephew, and Elizabeth Van Lew – Union spy. Historic St. John’s Church.
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. An annual event you don’t want to miss. Haunts and lots of scares – but lots of fun too.
Things that go BUMP in the Night at Henricus. Experience an evening of spellbinding accounts and legendary tales as storytellers relive old English and Virginia Indian legends and folklore. Join us by the fireside and listen to European stories early Colonists told as they recounted tales from their homeland. Capture the essence of what a Colonist felt between 1607-1622 in a strange new land surrounded by danger, darkness and uncertain peril. The harvest is in, the nights grow longer and danger lurks in the shadows. Light refreshments served. Registration required.

PUMPKIN FARMS
FREE admission and FREE hayrides. Beginning October 3, 2014, enjoy the all new haunts at Ashland Berry Farm. And pumpkin fields open September 27th where you get all the pumpkins you can carry at one time for just $20. FREE hayrides with first ones leaving at 10am each morning. Lots of family, single, or party fun.
FREE admission to the farm. Enjoy hayrides, pumpkin picking, Corn Cannons, a cornfield maze and more. Their legendary pick your own pumpkin is back too with over 100,000 pumpkins to choose from. Pre-sales for tickets at 50% off are available only while they last (normally $19 but just $9.50 now!).

Pumpkin Patch at Gallmeyer Farms
FREE entry to the farm – pumpkins by the pound. Get ready for pumpkin fun October 1-31. Visit the Pumpkin Patch at Gallmeyer Farms for an “on the farm” family experience with free activities such as hayrides, spooky house tours, the straw bale maze, and the romping pile and lots of pumpkins. Pumpkins available for picking, as well as winter squash, Indian corn, gourds and more. And, on October 5 Gallmeyer will host the the Third Annual Gallmeyer Farms Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fun play area for the kids. 4506 Millers Lane, Richmond VA.

Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt. September 16 – November 2, 2014 on select days (see website). The bloodcurdling horror and nightmarish madness of Halloween Haunt features ghastly creatures emerging from the darkness, highly-intense and bone-chilling attractions and some of the most hair-raising rides on the planet!
