On Saturday, March 14th, Ireland will be the center of attention during the COTU Irish Festival at the Center of the Universe (COTU) Brewing Company in Ashland.
Limited-release adult beverages will be served alongside traditional Irish food and accompanied by live Irish music. Admission is free for all ages and tickets are not required to attend.
Time and Place
The festival takes place from 12pm – 8pm at the Center of the Universe Brewing Co., 11293 Air Park Road in Ashland.
Food
Eat Catering, a local Ashland favorite, will be serving up traditional Irish vittles from 12pm – 8pm.
Adult Beverages
The following will be served from 12pm – 8pm.
- Limited Releases:
- Dry Irish Stout on Nitro
- Irish Soda Bread Lager
- Bald Irishman Irish Red Ale
- Standard Beverages:
- COTU Beer
- Wine
- Hard Cider
A variety of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
Live Music
- From 12pm – 3pm, “The Donnybrooks,” an Irish American string band, will perform traditional Irish music in their own southern-fried American style.
- From 4pm – 7pm, the band “Room for Improvement,” a Richmond-based and blues-influenced classic rock cover band, will play all your classic rock favorites mixed in with some classic Irish Irish tunes.
