Dina Weinstein, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of RVA on the Cheap
Dina Weinstein is a Richmond, Virginia-based award-winning journalist who reports for numerous local and national outlets. Check out her on-line portfolio to read her reportage.
Dina moved north from Miami, Florida where she worked mentoring young journalists as an advisor at the Miami Dade College student newspaper. She is a Boston native and a proud graduate of Boston University School for the Arts and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She has serious living-on-the-cheap credentials, growing up raised by a mother who owned a consignment shop for over a decade. Her biggest thrifty accomplishments have been working at a sleep-away summer camp to get the staff discount for her sons and living rent-free for seven years, with her kids and professor husband, as dorm parents at the University of Miami.
She enjoys saving money and spending time with her family attending FREE festivals, discovering restaurants and markets, exploring Richmond’s museums and appreciating nature. You can reach Dina at firstname.lastname@example.org.
