Rock Around the Block this St. Patrick’s Day

It’s been said that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

Whatever your ethnic heritage, you can enjoy the festivities at Shamrock the Block in Scott’s Addition this year on Saturday, March 14^th from 12pm-6pm.

2026’s Shamrock the Block street party will span the length of Leigh Street from Movieland to Midtown Green. As always, admission is free for all ages, with drink tickets for beer, wine and cocktails sold to adults between 12pm-5pm. Make sure to bring your ID and a designated driver. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to support local nonprofits Project Local and the Five-O’s Tiki Foundation.

Pets and Parking

Coolers and outside alcohol are not allowed, but pets are encouraged to attend as long as they are up to date on their shots and leashed.

Free street parking is available throughout Scott’s Addition and there are also several pay lots in the surrounding area. Unless the weather is deemed unsafe, festivities will continue rain or shine, so prepare accordingly.
