The 7th Annual Port Royal Pirate Festival (Celebrating America’s 250th & Port Royal’s 282nd Birthday) takes place on Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Town Green located at 419 King Street, Port Royal, Virginia, about 45 minutes from Richmond.

Eight pirate crews (and at least two mermaids) will bring history to life with pirate encampments, demonstrations, colorful characters, tales of the sea, music, weapons and artillery demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to mingle with the crews throughout the day. A parade, music and other live demonstrations are scheduled all day.
