FREE FOR YOUNG FAMILIES
The “Work and Play Stations”, where caregivers can work on a computer while their little ones play in a little playpen are designed for both adults and their little ones.
A “Family Comfort Room” and family restroom are located in the Children’s Section.
The Children’s Section is on the 2nd floor, accessible by steps or elevator. The play area is tucked in the back corner, with a play kitchen and Giant Light Wall. There’s seating back here, so caregivers can sit and supervise.
The cozy couches, tables (kid size ), and coloring pages throughout just make this such an appealing space for ALL little bookworms. Picture books are organized by topic, making it easy for your kiddos to select their own books.
FREE FOR TEENS
Across from the Children’s Section is the “Teen Room”, complete with video games, available for check out.
For those needing to study, there are several study rooms and a Quiet Reading Room.
Access to the Digital Media Lab is available, where patrons may use the video screen, podcasting equipment and more.
FREE FOR SENIORS
A Mobile Library Service van delivers books, DVDs, magazines and audiobooks to senior facilities monthly.
Whether you need a quiet place to study, or a safe place to let your children play for a bit, Fairfield Library is the ideal place for all ages!
