Nineteen Richmond-area museums are taking part in the Time Travelers program, where visitors use a downloadable“Passport”to time-travel during a special admission-free weekend, September 21-22, 2019. In the Time Travelers program, tourists and locals alike can discover the area’s treasures spanning 400 years of fascinating history completely FREE of charge. The participating museums include historic homes and other one-of-a-kind attractions.

The Valentine Museum in Richmond is one of the 19 museums taking part in the Time Travelers weekend program September 21 & 22, 2019 which affords visitors using the downloadable passport FREE admission.

The Time Travelers Weekend coincides with the Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day on September 21, 2019 which is another FREE museums admission day, an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket. The Time Travelers Museum List expands on the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day.
